How to Create an Application

This module explains how to create an Application in Promethist Studio, the final product delivered to the customer, which integrates multiple digital personas to cover all required tasks. Applications are used to enable users to interact with personas for testing and developing social conversation skills.

To create a new Application in Promethist Studio:

Navigate to the asset "Applications"
Click on "Create"

Fill in the fields as described in the Application Properties table below.

Application Properties

Property	Description
Application Name	Create a unique, descriptive name for the Application. This identifies the Application in Promethist Studio and for customer delivery. Example: Community Support & Solutions Use a name that reflects the Application’s purpose and avoids confusion with other Applications.
Personas	Select one or more Personas from the list of published Personas to include in the Application. Each Persona combines a Role, Character, and Identity to cover specific tasks. After selecting a Persona, choose the desired version from the dropdown, typically the latest or highest number. Example: Elena Choose Personas that collectively cover all tasks required for the Application, ensuring alignment with the project goals.
Language	Select one or more languages from the list to include in the Application.

Property

Description

Application Name

Create a unique, descriptive name for the Application. This identifies the Application in Promethist Studio and for customer delivery.

Use a name that reflects the Application’s purpose and avoids confusion with other Applications.

Personas

Select one or more Personas from the list of published Personas to include in the Application. Each Persona combines a Role, Character, and Identity to cover specific tasks. After selecting a Persona, choose the desired version from the dropdown, typically the latest or highest number.

Example: Elena

Choose Personas that collectively cover all tasks required for the Application, ensuring alignment with the project goals.

Language

Select one or more languages from the list to include in the Application.

Finalizing the Application

Once you have completed all desired fields for the new Application:

Click the Create button in the bottom-right corner.

Your Application is now created and saved. You can view it in the Application main page.

You Want to Edit or Delete Your Application?

Edit an Application

To modify your Application:

Navigate to the Application main page and select the Application you want to modify.
Click the Edit button on the Application’s profile.
Update the Application Name, Persona or Language as needed.
Click Save to apply changes or Return to discard them.
Test the updated Application How to Test an Application.

Delete Your Created Application

To remove your Application:

Navigate to the Application main page.
On the Applications main page, click the Delete button next to the Application you want to remove. A confirmation window will open, asking if you want to delete the asset. Select Yes to delete the Application or No to cancel.

The Application will disappear from the main Application view screen and from any pending publishing changes if it has not been published.
